On Saturday, June 6th, the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD), Young Men's Initiative - in partnership with I WILL GRADUATE Program is excited to announce our upcoming Youth and Family Action Day community event from 10 AM - 5 PM at Sanders Studios - 525 Waverly Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11238. Featured at the event is the YAEP Finale: Youth Business Pitch Competition.
In previous years guest speakers included Mayor Eric Adams, Speaker of the House Adrienne Adams, Public Advocate Jumanee Williams, Council Member Farah Louis, AT Mitchell (Man Up, Inc.) and others to be announced.
This event is aimed to address critical issues affecting our community and empower young minds to make a positive change. The conference will feature engaging activities, panel discussions, and workshops on topics such as Education, Food Injustice, Health/Mental Health, Gun Violence, Human Rights, and Housing.

E4EA - IWG Program will partner with The Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) “My Brothers Sisters Keeper Youth Council, New York City Police Department, and other city agencies and youth groups to promote peace and provide programs and resources to communities devastated by gun violence.
This event will feature entertainment, guest speakers, giveaways, raffle prizes, a live DJ, performances, and activities promoting mental health, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles.
